Doug is a currently working as a Lead Engineer in a team focusing on DevOps Enablement at Xero but anything written here is 100% personal ranting/vents.

He mostly writes C# deployed onto Kubernetes these days but has prior experience writing node.js professionally and has dabbled in languages like go and python.

This is mostly a place for him to dump thoughts he has had on software development as a whole, partially just so he can link this to people quickly instead of re-writing the same thoughts.

At this point in the introduction he also feels weird writing this in third person, but, I guess that's life.
